Updated Covid 19 Response Plan

I am fully committed to providing my clients with a safe environment and will be following HSE & IACP guidelines in relation to best practice.

In order to minimise risk clients are asked to commit to the following guidelines :

Covid-19 pre-screening – Client should not attend if you answer yes to any of the following questions :

Do you have symptoms of cough, fever, high temperature, sore throat, runny nose, breathlessness or flu like symptoms now or in the past 14 days?

Have you experienced recent loss of smell or taste?

Have you been diagnosed with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 infection in the last 14 days?

Are you a close contact of a person who is a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

Have you been advised by a doctor to self-isolate or cocoon at this time?

Have you returned from travelling abroad or to a restricted County within the last two weeks?

Covid-19 protocol for appointments

Only arrive at your allotted time for appointments.

Sessions will finish promptly at the scheduled time of 1hr.

People who fall into the high-risk category for Coronavirus (Please refer to HSE guidelines) need to consider if face to face option is in their best interest. Online and Phone Sessions are also available.

You will be informed in the event of a suspected case of Covid-19.

I am obliged to maintain a contact log for Contact Tracing purposes in the event of contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19. This will be handled with the utmost sensitivity and consideration regarding confidentiality issues.

Hygiene Protocols

The room will be ventilated and disinfected between clients.

Please use hand sanitiser on arrival & departure. Gloves are available if preferred for EMDR sessions.

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve if you cough or sneeze.

Avoid touching unnecessary surfaces.

Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth.
